Van Dieman’s Underwater Series- Sunken Treasure Shimmer

Van Diemans Sunken Treasure from the Underwater series is an unsaturated mauve purple ink with medium shading and gold shimmer. It dries in 70 seconds in a medium nib on Rhodia and has a slightly dry flow. Van Diemans ink is made in Australia.

Van Dieman’s Underwater is the 7thseries from Van Diemans Ink. Inspired by the Flora, Fauna, regions and mystery of the ocean, this collection of sixteen fountain pen and shimmer inks contains some of our most unique and experimental inks to date.

This color is based upon an old lost treasure chest, barnacle-covered and almost ruined from water damage, lying discarded on the ocean floor, and brimming with ancient loot. It is a softened mauve color with dark bronzed shimmer.
