Van Diemans Firetail Finch from the Wilderness Series is a medium scarlet red with low shading. It dries in 15 seconds in a medium nib on Rhodia and has a slightly dry flow. Van Diemans ink is made in Australia.

This ink is a unique and vivid red, inspired by the The Beautiful Firetail, a native bird species endemic to Tasmania and the neighboring islands, standing out with his lustrous red tail. This finch, and many other of Tasmanias fauna remain abundant, due to the vast stretches of wilderness left untouched.
