Description
Noodlers Purple Mountain Majesties from the Standard collection is a medium purple ink. It dries in 60 seconds in a medium nib on Rhodia and has an average flow. Noodlers ink is made in the United States.
Introduced at the 2018 Denver Pen Show.
The “Purple Mountain Majesties” comes from the song “America the Beautiful” which was written in 1895 by Katherine Lee Bates while visiting Pikes Peak near Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Although I personally had visited the Colorado Springs area many times during my Air National Guard career; I had never ascended the summit of the mountain.
Finally; while visiting the Colorado Pen Show in 2016, we had a chance to ride the “Cog Railroad” to the top. What an amazing experience!
