Van Diemans Spotted Sun Orchid from the Wilderness Series is a dark mauve purple with low shading. It dries in 60 seconds in a medium nib on Rhodia and has an average flow. Van Diemans ink is made in Australia.

This beautiful color is another edition to Van Diemans purple collection, close to a lilac tone with a soft bluish hue. Inspired by the native flower The Spotted Sun Orchid which, like its name shows colors on the flower that range from warm to cool, but with this gorgeous flower it has spots of a darker tones closer to its pistil. This excellently shading ink ranges from very light soft blue-lilac to a strong muted lavender.
